What You’ll Learn
The First Touch teaches you how to offer a complete, meaningful Thai Bodywork session to someone in the supine position (lying down)—the most accessible and relaxing position for partners and loved ones. You’ll learn proper body positioning, how to apply pressure with awareness and care, smooth transitions between movements, and how to guide someone into gentle stretches with respect for their body’s limits.
But this is more than technique. You’ll develop genuine skill in reading your partner’s body, sensing when to press deeper and when to ease off, and how to create safety and trust through conscious touch. By the end of three days, you’ll be able to offer a full 40–60 minute session that your partner genuinely wants to receive again.
Learning Through Three Layers
The First Touch is structured around three layers drawn from my own journey:
SKILL

You’ll learn the foundational techniques and sequences, practiced thousands of times and refined over years.
AWARENESS

As you practice, you’ll develop a deep understanding of how alignment, breath, and genuine listening transform technique into real dialogue.
EXPERIENCE

You’ll discover your own authentic way of touching. That’s what I’m here to help you find: not only my way, but your way to—the way that feels true and loving to you.
What You’ll Be Able to Do
- Offer a complete 40–60 minute Thai Bodywork session in the supine position
- Use proper posture and body mechanics so you don’t strain your own body
- Apply pressure mindfully and responsively, not just mechanically
- Guide your partner through gentle stretches with genuine care for their comfort
- Read your partner’s body and adjust based on what you sense and what they tell you
- Communicate clearly about consent and what they’re feeling
- Understand the “why” behind what you’re doing, not just memorize steps
- Practice in a way that feels authentic to you, not like you’re following a script

About Thai Bodywork
Thai Bodywork is an ancient healing art, often called “yoga for two.” While one person practices yoga poses alone, another person guides you into those same shapes through loving, conscious touch. It combines acupressure, rhythmic movement, gentle stretching, and rocking—all performed fully clothed on a mat.
What Makes Thai Bodywork Different
It’s not just massage. There’s no aggressive rubbing or deep tissue pressure. Instead, Thai Bodywork uses body weight, leverage, and rhythmic movement to help someone deeply relax.
It’s a dialogue. You’re constantly reading your partner’s body, listening to their breath, and adjusting based on what you sense. Every person’s body is different, and good bodywork adapts.
It’s about presence. The most powerful part isn’t the technique—it’s that you’re fully present with someone you care about, offering your undivided attention through touch.
It’s practical. You’re not learning theory; you’re learning practical skills you can use immediately with your partner, family, or friends.
The Benefits
Regular Thai Bodywork may support:
- Deeper relaxation and release of muscular tension
- Improved flexibility and range of motion
- Better breath awareness and circulation
- Reduced stress and nervous system activation
- Stronger connection and trust between partners
- A sense of genuine care being offered and received

MORE ANSWERS
Frequently Asked Questions
No. The First Touch is designed for complete beginners. All you need is curiosity and willingness to learn.
Absolutely. Many couples come together. That said, you don’t need to come as a couple—you can come alone and practice with other training students, then use what you learn with your loved one at home.
You’ll be on your feet practicing and moving with your body, but it’s not a fitness class. We teach efficient body mechanics so you practice without strain. We move at your pace.
Perfect. Three days is designed for tourists and travelers. You get genuine skill and a meaningful experience without needing to commit to a month-long course.
You receive a Certificate of Completion recognizing your training. This isn’t a professional credential (we don’t claim that), but it honors your genuine learning and practice.
Many graduates continue with us. We offer a 5-day Foundation Training, specialty workshops, and ongoing alumni practice sessions. But you can also just use what you’ve learned and keep practicing with your partner at home.
